Order and Delivery Policy

Orders can be made on-line through our secure site using PayPal, Visa & MasterCard Credit Cards, Visa Delta, Switch, Electron or Solo Cards. Alternatively, you can telephone our sales line on 00 44 (0)1229 871887 and give your order to our Sales Staff.
All stock items will be dispatched the same day by Royal Mail Standard, if orders placed before 13.00 hrs, Monday to Friday.
All orders are charged at our standard delivery charge of £2.97 ex vat which will be charged at a rate of 17.5%.

Lost Parcels

In the event of a lost parcel with Royal Mail a replacement will only be issued after 14 days has past since dispatch. A claim will be made against Royal Mail for the lost parcel.
It is the responsibility of the customer to sign and return the Royal Mail Lost Parcel Declaration. Failure to comply will result in the customer being charged for the duplicate parcel.

Returns Policy

For any defective products received, please follow the returns procedure below:-
i) Return goods to us enclosing a copy of your Invoice/Sales Receipt Number and details of the faulty product(s)
ii) All product(s) must be returned in their original packaging, we are unable to offer exchange for product(s) that are returned not within this criteria.
iii) It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for postage of returned items.
NO Refunds are given for postage paid.
iv) On receipt of the faulty product a replacement will be issued within 2 days.

We CANNOT however Replace/Refund:-

  • a) Any Ink Cartridge or Toner found to be less than 50% full.
  • b) Any item purchased prior to the previous 3 months
  • c) For any wrongly ordered item, please note that the company reserves the right to make a handling charge of up to 20% of the total order value plus delivery costs, which will be deducted from any replacement/refund given to the customer.
  • d) Any wrongly ordered item which, is returned for a refund, which has

been opened by the customer will NOT be refunded.

Refunds

A refund will be offered on all faulty products if a replacement cannot be supplied within 7 working days, or if the customer requests a refund instead of a replacement as long as the product(s) meets with Returns criteria iii),a) and b), c) & d). In the instance that a customer requests a refund then it is the responsibility of the customer to return the items at their own expense.

Guarantee of Quality

All our products are manufactured under the highest quality controlled conditions. It is warranted that products have been tested and are free from defects. Should a product be found to be defective, it will be replaced via Returns Procedure above.

It is further undertaken that, subject to conditions stated below and under normal use, the goods we supply will not cause damage, abnormal wear or deterioration to any printer/copy/fax machine/computer/laptop for which they are designed.

In the unlikely event that any cartridge or toner is proven to be the sole cause of a printer/copier failure, the manufacturer will repay the full costs of service and repair of the printer/copier.

This guarantee is dependent upon the client/customer providing satisfactory evidence that the printer/copier failure was due to a defect in the cartridge/toner, including a written statement on the service company’s letterhead, dated and signed by a company representative. The company shall confirm that such costs are at the standard rates for time and materials.

The manufacturer’s liability shall be limited to replacement or reimbursement as stated above and shall exclude consequential loss, howsoever arising.

Cancellations

Please note North West Consumables Ltd reserves the right to make a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the order total on ANY order.

Special Orders with any lead time greater than 5 days can only be cancelled with agreement from the Manufacturer. North West Consumables Ltd reserves the right to make a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the order total.

Any order placed via web, phone or email is a binding contract between The Customer & North West Consumables Ltd and all our terms and conditions apply.
